Erik Burns has been in the carpet industry his entire life, learning the trade alongside his father and developing a deep respect for doing things right from the beginning.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Erik built his career serving homeowners throughout the Denver Metro area. By combining real installation knowledge with a thorough understanding of how carpet performs in the home, he brings a level of clarity and confidence that most customers rarely find.
Erik's strength is in simplifying the process. He asks the right questions, narrows down options quickly, and helps customers make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed.
Every detail is considered, from how a space is measured to how the finished product will look and perform once it's installed. The goal is straightforward. Get it right the first time and deliver exactly what was promised.

Maggie Burns brings structure, accountability, and warmth to Origin Carpet, turning years of expertise into a seamless experience for every customer.
With a background in banking, Maggie built her career on attention to detail, clear communication, and earning trust. She has also worked closely alongside Erik for years, learning the industry from the inside out.
Her strength is creating clarity within a hands-on trade. She makes sure communication stays consistent, details get handled, and no one is left wondering what comes next.
At Origin Carpet, Maggie oversees scheduling, coordination, and follow-through, ensuring every customer feels well taken care of from the first conversation through the final walkthrough. She takes pride in building relationships and helping create a company people can count on.
Tom Burns
Director of Installation & Field Operations
Tom Burns brings more than five decades of experience to Origin Carpet and represents the foundation the company is built on.
He began his career in Chicago, running a commercial carpet installation business before relocating his family to Colorado. There he built one of the Denver Metro area's most respected flooring companies, a business that still carries a strong reputation today.
That chapter speaks for itself. Years of high-volume work, countless installations, and a loyal customer base built entirely on quality and word of mouth.
Tom's knowledge comes from a lifetime in the trade. His influence on the standard of work at Origin Carpet is felt on every project.
